Would like info on Clubs,rentals(23-26), or general info on Puget Sound. Will be going mid June, might trailer 23 Hunter if rentals not available.

Ron; Do a Google search using relevant search words, you'll get more info than you can process.

Here's two ideas

Try calling Windworks or the Seattle Sailing Club. In each case, members get first priority so you may strike out but its worth a try. Also, send for a copy of 48 Degrees North and check their classifieds for charters or rentals. There's usually a pretty good selection. Enjoy!

Bring your boat

Bring your Hunter 23, I assume you can launch from its trailer. It should be a fine boat for cruising anywhere from Olympia to Desolation Sound. South Sound is shallow in many places, the north country is deep. However, many places you might anchor are shallow and a small boat can safely stay inshore of the park buoys which are loaded by noon. Enjoy sailing all afternoon, then anchor a bit out from the low tide mark. You could even trail to Lund and do Desolation Sound, or to Toquart (sp?) Bay and cruise the Broken Island Group in Barclay Sound (pure heaven).
