We all know that when handling our sheets and halyards that we are supposed to pull with an over-hand grip. During a few races this past season I was not doing that, I was trimming underhanded for whatever reason, and the conditions were a bit sporty. I just returned from the orthopedic doctor and I get to have 4-6 weeks of physical therapy on my right arm due to Distal Biceps Tendonopothy (tears in the tendon), Lateral Epicondylosis (tennis elbow), and a little bursitis thrown in for good measure. Hopefully the therapy and other treatment will resolve this before I need to have an MRI to see if there is more damage. There is a reason we are told to do things a certain way.
I kind of feel like this right now.....
One saving grace is that the place I am going handles all the major professional sports teams in town too so I am in pretty good hands.
