Any recommendations out there for propeller type/size for yanmar 3 gmd 30 on a hunter 34 1986

I suggest that you find a prop shop to get you a proper blade for your boat.

Do you have a budget? $500, $1000, $2000 $2500?

Michigan Sailor, Campbell Sailor, Kiwi, .........

HI, here are 2 recommendations for a prop for your boat from Norm at West by North, I went with the Campbell, thinking that I would mostly be cruising. It works great, the 2 blade vibration is gone. I can't quite hit 3300rpm but never cruise at that anyway. I left the price in so you can get an idea of what you might spend. I bought 2 years ago. Hope this helps

"Based on the information that you have provided, we would recommend a CS3RH14x9x1 for your installation. This is a Campbell Sailer, three blade, Right Hand rotation, 14" diameter, 9" pitch for a 1" shaft. This size is recommended to give you a good cruising rpm and still have reserve for head wind and seas.

This propeller would cost you $565.00 plus taxes.

The Kiwi Feather Propeller size recommendation is for a 16" diameter x 21 degree pitch and the cost is $1395.00."

Original factory prop on my boat was a Michigan Wheel "Sailor",two blade, 15" pitch by 15" diameter by 1" shaft with standard taper. My transmission is a KM3A with a 2.63:1 ratio. Boat is an'85 model. Engine is a 3 GMF.
