When I backed out of my slip last weekend the prop shaft dis-engaged from the transmission cupling. This left me with no forward or reverse speeds. I got it back together but determined that I don't want that to happen again. My question is, on the A4 all that is holding the shaft in place is a bolt through the cupling with a keeper wire to keep the bolt from backing out. Has anyone drilled into the shaft to created a dimple or drilled through the shaft and added a pin. If so, what size pin did you use. Thanks.
