After hauling my boat out I noticed my prop was looking a little ugly, It,s the origanal 2 blade. I've got to replace the nut and pin,the cuttless bearing should probally be replaace also, while'm at it should I change to a new feathering or folding prop. The boats a 1984

what do you mean by ugly? I'd save my cash and have it refinished by a prop shop. It will come back with the nicks filled, fully balanced, and shiny all at the fraction of replacment cost.

patrick is on target if you want to save the bucks. i went online and visited indigo (see link, below) and bought a 3-blade prop from them. it's not supposed to attract barnacles and, if you aren't racing, it should improve your powering ability. so far, it's driven my old #1052 along at a respectable 5.5k at 1750-1800 rpm. it's a matter of personal choice.
