Stove only a part of LPG system
The stove is only a part of a properly installed LPG system. Most people find the difficult part of this conversion is where to put the LPG locker. The LPG tank MUST be in a dedicated locker that has an overboard vent and is air and vaopr tight to the vessel interior. Also the locker MUST open directly to outside air, not inside another locker. All lines should be either copper tubing with UL approved flexible connecters at the stove and the locker or UL approved flexible line.An electric shutoff and a leak detector are highly recommended. As for the stove, conversion is possible but all the internal components must be changed, burners, valves and lines. LPG is a great fuel but since it is a heavier than air gas, extreme caution must be used. That being said, I converted my own 37C to LPG and it worked out great.Dan Sheehan AMSDo it right or not at all LPG is dangerous if not done properly
