"Jake--" On that window glass in your dodger, go to your local HONDA Motorcycle shop and ask for a spray can of Plexi Glass cleaner, scratch remover polish. Cycle owners use it on their windshields and it is fantastic!!! Makes them look like new.

thanks Bob the canvas shop here was very hesitant to me. my dodger glass is in nice shape right now and of course I want to keep it that way. sand and dust and dirt will scratch and we dont want that so I have been good while cleaning.I will try the plexi glass cleaner from the honda dealer here thanks again to all. jake

More advice

Our dodger had new windows replaced 8 years ago. When I asked what to use to clean it he said only water. I wash them with water, wipe with a clean cloth while they are wet, rewash with only water, then dry with a very clean cloth. The windows are like new. One other step I use as we have hard water down here in the Marina, is to do a final rinse with bottled or distilled water before drying. I simply use a spray bottle of distilled water to wipe away the mineral deposits, then dry. Been pleased with this advice. Perhaps badly crudded windows might need more aggressive treatment.

Re: Crudded Plexi Glass Windows

"Jack--" Living in Mexico with the dust, heat and hard water is the perfect formula for plexi glass to get that "foggy/rusty look." If you have a fellow boater with that problem, use regular tooth paste(not the Gel)and cotton balls in a circluar motion to clean the glass. It should bring the glass back to 85-90% of what it was originally. Good Luck

WINDOW CLEANER

The best product to use on the plexi windows on dodgers and side windows is PLEXUS spray. Available at most marine stores about $15.00 This stuff works great and is used extensively in the auto markets for convertible rear windows, etc.
