Please help with DC wiring

Re the second 1-2-B switch.

What is the purpose of the short wire from the bus between the switch and the ACR doing for you? The ACR feeds into the reserve bank.

If you eliminate this wire, the second 1-2-B simply becomes the I/O switch we've been suggesting, per the wiring diagrams previously linked, and as suggested by Maine Sail. We recognize you already own the switch, but using it simply is a lot easier, although it will still require an on board wiring diagram and instructions.

I could do that but then I'd have to take power to starter from the other battery switch so I have an option as to which batteries to use for starting.

On my diagram I show the ACR wired to the +bus, is this correct or should it go direct to battery post?

On the AC wiring what would you all suggest for wire gauge? I currently have all 3 bundle 14awg wire. Coincidently my AC isn't grounded to DC wire bus or anywhere else for that matter (oops!), going to the marina first thing in the morning. I also had an idea about making a set of jumper cables for that unseen emergency. I could utilize a pair of anderson power pole connectors, one side wired to position 2 of my engine starter switch (currently wired to be just an on/off switch) and the other end would be a 25 foot or so of 2/0 wire pair attached to battery clamps.

So on my DC panel I have these types of switches (http://www.catalinadirect.com/index.cfm/product/1178_593/paddle-switch-for-electrical-panel.cfm), the only rating on them is for AC voltage. I have an Electro Scan waste treatment system that draws 35A or so, from where it is installed to the DC panel there's about 12~13ft of wire which is going to be 6AWG. Will that switch be adequate for that type of load?, Raritan suggests a 60A fuse.

You should consider adding a Galvanic Isolator between the AC ground and the DC negative/ground connection. I had a nice Campbell Sailor propeller eaten away during three months of being plugged into shore power for a heater last winter.

Not really a book kinda guy, and yes I've read most of the links provided. I ask questions to confirm what I read to make sure I understood right.
