I want to permanently install the head in my '82 H25. I already have a Sealand 965 portable with a five gallon holding tank, but I'm interested in the SeaLand Traveler 711-M28 with a nine gallon tank. I want the additional holding capacity, but mostly I'm interested in a deeper, more comfortable toilet bowl. The bowl on the 900 is just too shallow for my liking! Is the Traveler bowl significantly bigger/deeper?Installing the 711 would require some surgery, because the holding tank is too deep for the fiberglass "ledge" that the portapotty currently sits on. If I remember correctly, the portapotty ledge is about 14" deep, and the Sealand tank is somewhere between 19" and 21" deep, so the 711 would stick out too far & block access to the v-berth. Is there any significant amount of wasted space between the cabin liner and the outer hull? In other words, can I cut out the back of the factory hull liner, and gain enough space to shove the 711 tank further back out of the way?By the way, I can't just go see for myself, because I'm two months into a six month Army tour of duty in Djibouti, Africa. right now, I'm putting together my "to do list" for when I return-- install permanent head, new mainsail, new central A/C, rebuild the trailer, do a bottom job.......
