I purchased a PerfectPitch propeller (plastic 15x11) from Performance Propellers about a month ago. After installation I've had this banging/noise at certain RPMs. I even hauled the boat to see if anything mechanical was the problem and it is not. I have now replaced it with the extended model and the noise is still there except it has moved up from about 2400 to 2800 RPM. Has anyone experience this problem? Some say it might be turbulance coming off the leading edge of the two bladed prop? The prop has a very rounded leading edge.

Is this the reccommended Prop for your boat? Often it is best to speak with the manufacturer to see which prop you should use for your boat.
