We are looking at a 1985 Pearson Triton 27. We'repretty new to sailing and don't know anything about the Pearson brand. From reading the posts, it appears some of the larger boats had a cord hull. I'm afraid of purchasing a boat with a cord hull; does anyone know if this boat had one? Any other general opinions about the 27 Triton.

None of the Triton's had a cored hull but most are getting long in the tooth and may require at lest some overhauling & repairs..

If im not mistaken these boats were built by pearson from molds and designs
originally belonging to US yachts and are not true pearsons. Be careful
Check with Dan Phieffer, or his site considered by many to be an authority
on pearsons
