Hi to all, I am a new boat owner with limited knowledge regarding my boat and would love to hear info from others. One incident is that the jib halyard broke and the aft sheaves are badly chunked. I have been told sheaves cant be replaced w/o taking down the mast. Thanks, Patty

Patty,
The spar on your year boat is probably an Isomat. If so, the sheaves are replacable with the mast in place but you will have to hang from a bosuns chair for awhile. There is a cover on top of the masthead fitting that gives access to the sheavas.
The sheaves and all the info you will need is avaliable on:

Click on Isomat and search for the info you will need.
Rig-rite also made the spars for the earlier Pearsons, if yours is not an Isomat section.
