Pearson 36-2 for a Pacific Crossing?

Hi,
I'd love to hear people's opinions about the Pearson 36-2 as a boat for a Pacific crossing or any large ocean crossing. Has anyone here done this? Why do you think it would be good or not so good?

I know of a couple currently cruising the pacific with a pearson 36-4. I think, ask
them to be sure. I know it's a pearson 36.

they left from california, went to tonga etc... are now in new zealand.
