Pearson 32 Rudder Removal

Hi,

I am looking for advice or suggestions on removal of P32 rudder. The obstacle, at the moment, is in the gudgeon or shoe removal. The bolts won't hammer through and shoe won't move and I am not sure how much more force I should apply.

Bo, the hardware may very well be glassed in place. If you are not well skilled, you might want to leave it to a professional. There will probably be some "drastic engineering" (force) needed to remove the parts. Good luck and good sailing, Ron
