Pearson 303 : Cutlass replacment

Hello Pearson owners! I think I need to change out my Cutlass Bearing for spring launch..lol That's if the snow goes away! However; I'm told the best time to do this is in dead winter of 0deg. temperatures. So I need to know 1. What bearing to get (size, stainless vs. Brass) 2. Any information for removal of old one, tools etc.... and 3. Any GOTCHA's would help too )

Note: I can move my shaft 1/4in. all around.. and inside the joint wobbles while underway.

Shaft = 1 inch. Outer Diameter. = 1 1/2 inch. Length = 4 inch.

What's the best way to go about replacing the cutless bearing on the P303? Did you have to pull the shaft? Any tips? While I'm at it I was considering change from the 2 blade prop to a 2 or 3 blade feathering - any input? Thanks, Mike
