Hello Pearson owners! I think I need to change out my Cutlass Bearing for spring launch..lol That's if the snow goes away! However; I'm told the best time to do this is in dead winter of 0deg. temperatures. So I need to know 1. What bearing to get (size, stainless vs. Brass) 2. Any information for removal of old one, tools etc.... and 3. Any GOTCHA's would help too :))

Best regards, Capt. Rob
P303 #221
Note: I can move my shaft 1/4in. all around.. and inside the joint wobbles while underway.

What's the best way to go about replacing the cutless bearing on the P303? Did you have to pull the shaft? Any tips? While I'm at it I was considering change from the 2 blade prop to a 2 or 3 blade feathering - any input? Thanks, Mike
