I am not sure of the protocol here, or whether I may give some offense, but I am posting the same basic message on two different boards. I recently purchased a 97 C270 and would like to join an appropriate owner's association. I do not race or group cruise but I would like to support the design association and also have access to technical information. My problem is there seems to be more than one association and I am a bit confused about the relationship between them. Any explanation or illumination would be appreciated greatly. Thank you.

They are both ways in which owners share info and ask questions, but are not really associations. I belong to all, and I wouldn't worry too much about protocol ... the participating sailers sure don't
