Dave: Go to the Hunter Marine Web Site. They have a FAQ section. They list the packing for the stuffing box type and shaft sizes there.

Packing

I just repacked mine this spring and used 3/16" along with a large dad of waterproof grease. If you never did this before, ask someone who did help the first time.

Consider a dripless packing

IF the boat is out of the water, the PSS dripless packing is a much more permanent way to go, and you don't get any water in the bilge at all after it is installed. They are easy to install and the cost is not too bad.

Hunter Marine FAQ's?

I went to the Hunter Marine Web site and couldn't find the FAQ section. Can you tell me where it is?
