Pearson 30 Chicago
I have a Pearson 30 I bought four years ago. Since I bought the boat I've had a small water leak that results in a wet shelf on the starboard side of the main cabin under the window. I haven't been able to determine where the water is coming from, but based on other posts on this site, last year I purchased a window reseal kit and removed and resealed the starboard window. I also removed the companionway slider and rebedded the aluminum strips. Unfortunately at the beginning of the season after a hard rain, I still had a leak. I then caulked around the base of the teak grabbar on the starboard deck and also caulked around the base of the mast hoping to seal any place water could possibility be getting in. Unfortunately none of this has worked and the shelf is still wet after a hard rain.

Any suggestion on where else the water could be getting in or what else I could try?

what year is your Pearson? The hull / deck joint tends to leak on 1980 vintage boats..... that could be the source. Also, have you rebed / checked the stanchions?
