P26 Steering with outboard????

Hi again,

One more P26 question. We are planning our big move and are concerned with steering. The P26 doesn't have any rudder!
My thought was initially that I could steer with the outboard but my partner is having some doubt's..

Can anyone out there provide any much needed insight???

The outboard will only provide steerage if it is operating. The steerage comes from the propulsion of the prop, not the rudder. When off, it will provide little or no steerage.
