I have the internal outhaul system and a bolt rope main sail. I'm not sure the scope. All I want to do is bring it to the cockpit so that I'll be more incline to use it. The boom is in my shop so I will try to remove the end caps and reconfigure the internal set up. I'll have to figure out how much line I'll need to bring it back. You can see how it cleats to the boom now. It will be easy to run it down to a block and through the organizer back.
What I have noticed is it's not to difficult to flatten the sail but when I loosen it it take a bit to get it to slide back to increase the draft. It was better this past season with a heavy dose of McLube. Thanks for the suggestions. I was really trying to avoid removing the end caps as I'm sure Don can attest will be a bear.
