Outboard Motor Mount on arch ? 2004 Hunter 41

Hi - my outboard typically gets in the way of raising my dingy (AL10) up to a reasonable height. and if not done correcty - the skeg will wear on the dingy

Has anyone mounted to the side on the arches ? I believe I have seen a picture of this -If so - any recommendation on a mounting bracket - the arch tubing is pretty thick Thanks Jim

I mounted my 2.5hp Suzuki OBM on the arch.

I have a 15hp on my arch it where I've kept the engine for years. leave the lift connected most of the time. Oak or teak board with 3 u bolts .

cool - did you make the mount yourself or is there somewhere I can order one ?

I use a suitable sized wooden kitchen chopping board and mount with U-bolts and an aluminum strip as stand-off bracket.
