Dear King Aeolus,
I am usually very grateful for all the blessings of wind you bestow to Recess. My people are also very grateful that you carry our prayers to the four corners of the world from our sweats. But seriously, was today really necessary? I enjoyed the swim in morning and noon off the boat in the middle of the lake with my son and wife and the wisps of wind that caressed the surface of the water with a promise of afternoon winds that would bring us such joy. But dude, what you did today was just cruel. I know that often you will place wind on one side of the lake and I motor sail to it and have a great time. So today when I saw the wind a mile off, I, as always, motor sailed to it and once the boat heels over, cut the engine. I am cool with that. It was not very majestic today that you decided to kill the little breeze that was there just after I made my first tack....EVERY freaking time! Look King, I like to yell Helm's A Lee, almost to the point of perversion I like it so much. I even tried staying in one place and Wait for a little bone to be thrown my way... but no.... you wanted me to keep going after the wind you taunted me with across the lake. Now, for the first time this year, I must break out the aloe. I mean I have a good base tan, it is in my genetics, but trying to hold out for one sustained breeze killed me today. I had the 150 up and everything. Could you please throw me a bone tomorrow?
Sincerely,
Aloe soaked and miffed!
