Hi all,I have never gone to the trouble of weighing my 1976 Oday 22 on the trailer. All the specs I've seen consistently list the displacement as 2,083 lbs. It would seem to me, however, that the old shoal keel model like mine, with 600 lbs of ballast, would have a different displacement than the later centerboard version with 800 or 900 lbs ballast. Does anyone know if the 2,083 lbs. listed refers to the shoal keel model or the centerboard model? Has anyone actually weighed their 22 on the trailer to find out how much they're hauling?I'm thinking of moving up to a 500 lb. heavier boat. My 3.4 liter V-6 Toyota Tacoma is pulling my Oday fine, but I wouldn't want to add a lot more. Thus the reason for trying to figure out the weight of the old 22. I realize that displacement and "trailer weight" are different, but at least displacement would give me an apples to apples comparison. Thanks!
