Any of you fellas ever let the Admiral do the last few feet of back up with the boat on the ramp while you're prepping the boat? I'm just saying...

What, exactly, are you saying? That we should trust anyone other than ourselves?
Ah yah! But trust no-one, especially if your admiral is about half your height and forgets to adjust the seat forward in the truck. You gotta figure it all out before the request to assist in a boat launch...otherwise you're just a trust-free "Skipper". This is how the tow vehicle gets wet. Too funny fellas!

Y'all've got it all wrong. The driver clearly saw where someone lost his trailer due to not using safety chains. This is merely an opportunistic salvage operation.
I expect that's it. I'm sure there is a snorkel on that truck and we just can't see it "from this angle"...

Hey Guys;
My wife, Ann, is 5'3" and she use to drive a stick shift dooley with large boats on a trailer behind it. Being a Med Tech, that is awesome! She could even back up so well. Once she was pulling a wide load without permits nor signage with a trailer tire that blew out on I-95 and came to a full stop blocking the entrance to the NC weigh scales at mile marker 26. She kept her cool when the cop came out and said she would try to pull the boat over. Never got a ticket as I was ahead with a 34 footer that had the permits and wide load signs. So I trust the admiral on the road except in snow and Ice and yes I have pulled boats in that as well but that is for a later story.

Sue had no problems on the ramp when we used to trailer our ski boat around. In Montauk, some a-hole was giving her a hard time because she refused to forfeit her turn on the ramp to them. We were pulling out and a group of 4 yahoos were putting in. One of the guys flipped her the bird and said "welcome to Montauk". She waited until they cleared out, then she went over and kicked the snot out of the guys beater pick-up truck. Don't mess with a woman who might take offense!

She added a few dents and knocked some of the rust off it, I guess. Sue likes to kick. She enjoys kick-boxing classes for fitness. There are times when I need to steer clear of her!

you sir have lead a sheltered life i suspect:kick:
I suppose you could say that. I'm one of the luckiest guys I know. But the yen for "street justice" needs to be tempered with a knowledge of the possible legal ramifications.
Edit: at least she took it out on an inanimate object.

There are a few things that won't change about Sue. 1. She is as sweet as honey, warm & friendly ... until you mess with her just once. She forgives & forgets easily when you stop messing with her. 2. She rarely uses a filter between her brain and her mouth.
I may need to bail her out someday, but it will be worth it!

Kinda reminds me of an episode I encountered while driving with my wife around the harbor in Rocky Point. Pam's made it her mission to clean up the area, an admirable ambition. She's always fishing out detritus from the marina and the streets.
As we drove past a group of fishermen, she asked me "What's the Spanish word for trash?"
"Basura", I told her.
So she leans out the car window and starts yelling "Basura" at the top of her lungs!
Needless to say, I quickly rolled up her window. Filters, indeed.

I'm thinking 4 guys try to claim a girl kicked a few new dents in their truck? Good luck proving. I assume she can fake sweet and fragile when she needs to.

So THAT'S where I put it! It was a rough weekend. Might explain why my shoal keel has 3 feet ground off and it's looking more planing hull these days.
