Oil Filter

I have a 1984 C30 with the Universal M25 engine. When my local NAPA store cross referenced the Universal filter they came up with a #1334. Only promlem is it doesn't fit. The center threaded hole is to small. Has anyone found a filter that works, maybe Fram or AC?

I use universal parts. They have a $25 Minimum order so I order several oil

Fram

Pete,I have the same engine and have used Fram oil filters, which are availble at the local marine supply store. I can look up the number the next time I am at the boat if you are unable to find it.Tom Behrendt

Fram Oil Filter

You can use a Fram #PH3593 or Hastings #146A both are alot cheaper than one from Universal which is #298854.

Fuel or oil?

My book says 298854 is the fuel filter. Oil filter is 300209.jv
