I'm looking to replace a section of my toe rail. Does anyone know of a machine shop or yard with capabilities to fabricate toe rail?

Rudy sells sections of it at drmarine.com. I made my own by ripping a similar profile out of ipe. I made mine slightly wider and taller than the original. Someone with a tablesaw should be able to do the same.

How hard was the Ipe to bend and work with? Beautiful wood.

It's definitely a tough wood but machines really well. It comes out of the tablesaw looking like it's been sanded. Which is good because sandpaper hardly makes a dent in it. Bending the toerail wasn't too bad. I just slowly bent it as I went along screwing it in. It's checking a little bit after being in the sun for a couple months but not too bad. I just have teak oil on it now. I haven't decided which route I'm going with the finish.
