I doubt it
I've sailed on dozens of Catalina 25s, and I'm very sorry. There is no comparison between the 272 (w/wheel) and the 25. Aside from the sailing, which should go without saying, the 272 (again, mine is an LE w/in-board diesel, pressure water, raritan Ph11head, 30 gallon water tank, is just much moreboat. From a sailing standpoint, the LE just sails like a dream. With a single line reef system, all lines led aft, great non-skid,wheel, better quality winches, etc. I outfittedour boat with a new Doyle Stackpak main last year and wow, it's just a great boat to sail on and to party on after the sailing is over for the day.....Boston Accousic speakers below, great Polyplaner platinum speakers in the cockpit, Garmin GPs, the quality of our O'dayhas made the decision to trade up very difficultjust look at the tankage, etc. and quality ofmaterials and I think the decision will be easyCome to Ninnescah Yacht Club in Wichita this spring and I'll take you sailing! We've hadsuch a warm winter we were sailing just two weeks ago on a 69 degree day...our O'Day 272LE is celebrating it's 20th birthday this month...sailing on it two weeks ago reminded why I haven't sold it.......Patrick
