222Centerboard
We have a 222, but the 192 is almost the same. We needed to replace the centerboard rope and when we dove under the water to check it out, we also noticed that the centerboard was cracked open. So we had the 222 put on boat stands at a local boat yard for $10 a foot ($220). That included haul off of trailer, put on stands and haul back into water(was actually called a short haul)... Once the boat was on stands we easily accessed the bottom of keel and waa able to remove centerboard(three screws on bottom of keel), epoxy/repair it, replace the rope and paint the inside of keel where the centerboard is. All in all not a bad job, but have a second hand around to help and bring lots of tools with you.
