Picked up a good used roller curled last yeat. Fella even sent spare cones. Explicitly stated that the fittings were for 7mm.
Published state for my forestay are 9/32" , which according to multiple sources and my calculator are 6 .7mm. Actual mic size of said wire is nearer to 6.5mm. I
Is swage-finish wire typically undersize vs original diameter? Is 15 to 20 thousandth light i n dia. going to be a problem?
I would assume (engineering use!) that the cone/socket mechanism would take up this small amount of slack? What say you experienced folks?
TIA, Paul
BTW.... I hate spell changer!

Here is some info from Rigging Only. There are metric and standard sized Norseman fittings. The wrong cone size would be a factor as to the performance of the fitting.

Norseman parts are getting hard to find. The company had problems. Consolidated there production in 2014. Norseman production was shut down.

If you can find cones, no season not to keep using norseman, great product, not so great company. You MUST be sure of your wire size and metric/SAE, close isnt good enough. Get a little LOOS GAUGE, a sheet of aluminum with diameter marks. Have fun out there...Will
