I own a 1985 O'day 31, love the boat, but some of it's details as far as finish quality is less than ideal. I pride myself on trying to keep her in as close to bristol condition as I can. As such, I've been replacing and trying to improve her appearance as much as time, money, and energy allows me.
The previous owner has made a repair on the forward section of the starbord deck, next to the pulpit attachment. He did not match the color or texture of the rest of the deck, which causes to make it look like what it is, a patch. An ugly at best.
I need a source for the templates, to make the non skid paint look like the rest of the original non skid on the deck. I called Rudy, but he did not have any leads, but I know there is someone out there whom has repainted their decks and can send me down the right path. Thanks
