Does anyone have success cleaning the diamond-shaped non-skid at the edges and corners where grime builds up? I've tried Barkeepers Friend and bleach, to no avail. Thanks.

Be careful with Soft Scrub. It contains abrasives and bleach and if used improperly can dull your gelcoat or paint and if not rinsed off really, really well it will dull and damage or discolor paint, gelcoat, wood and canvas. Chuck
We used Starbrite non-skid deck cleaner on our Hunter 38 this past weekend. It cleaned areas of non-skid that we had thought were hopeless, including the cockpit, where there was a lot of ground in dirt.
A vote for Star Brite here. Not as chemical-ly as Roll Off.
I've found that squirting it on, spreading it out, and letting the stuff sit on the wet non-skid for a few minutes before scrubbing and hosing down works best to get the most grime off with the least effort.

Another vote for a quality pressure washer--three weeks ago I asked/received marina permission to PW the entire deck of S/V Beyond_the_Arc (also asked slipmates & neighbors). In two hours (and two tanks of gas!) thirty+ years of dirt and grime were removed and flushed away--water only! Boat looks almost new, the white is white!, the tan non-skid is clearly tan and the blue stripping is beautiful. Waxed & polished the gelcoat and now, almost a month later, she's still beautiful! And for a near-geezer (I was at Woodstock!), I could easily stand and do the work--much easier than the scrub-a-dub I tried in April (to no real success) using many of the aforementioned cleaners.

Check out most of the non-skid cleaners. They are using oxalic acid as one of the major ingredients. You can make you own cleaner with some boat soap and oxalic acid. It is also good for removing rust from stainless.
