Adding to Tony's Thoughts
There are alot of marks in the channe but it is not difficult at night as yuo'll pick up references to guide you. If I pulled out my chart I could tell you for sure. A trip in is sort of like this after you pass through the railroad bridge you steer to the right of the wreck light then towards the shrimp boats then the IP then the dolphins that the coal barges tie up to then the power lines and the I-110 bridge straight to the next lighted marker and then you see the runway lights and there is the marina. We would watch for the markers not so we knew where to turn but so we did not hit them when we did turn. It really does become second nature to navigate through there even at night.
