I'm going to purchase new sails for my 1983 C30 this year. I am considering purchasing them from Sails East. Has anyone had experience with this sailmaker? If so, are you satisfied with their product and service?

I also have an 83 catalina tall rig and will be purchasing sails this winter. The only sailmaker I have ever dealt with is Doyle who was fine, but not cheap.

Sails East

I have heard good things about Sails East. My H240 had Doyle and I had no complaints.

i bought a 150 roller furling genny from sails east- i'm happy with it and the price was very good- an off season discount- it took a while but i wasn't in a hurry, off season

Happy with UK Genoa

I purchased a UK sailmaker genoa this year. It was their pentax sail with fibreglass tape drive. Great improvement in the performance of the boat, and the sail furls very nicely. I can sail in higher winds with the full sail because the sail can be made very flat. And the price was competitive! Ed
