New sails coming - best of both worlds?

Any thoughts on how these would hold up for an in-mast RF main? It sounds like RF jibs are fine since the radius isn’t bad and creasing is minimal, but a main seems to wrap a little more tightly, sometimes creases on the foil, and gets substantially more wear sliding through the mast slot.

I don’t feel qualified to offer an opinion but am curious about the relative cost difference.

I realize I might be asking too personal a question so no need for actual numbers but a percentage difference would help me get my head around how much of a bump the newer stuff adds.
It was $2000 more each sail over dacron. So $4000 total upgrade. We are day sailors but I'd like to upgrade and not just get the cheapest option. We tried a couple races this year and had fun.

Thanks for that. If you don’t mind can you tell me how much the Dacron option was?

Both the main and 135 were tri-radial cut, main was $1352, jib was $1572 from Precision with the 25% black friday discount. I'd like to get a quote in the material @Jackdaw. Is getting

I had a little sticker shock at first on the approx 2x differential however here is my math based on DrJudy’s hours of use post.

So just for the jib:

Dacron jib 1572/400 = $3.93/hr of use before you start thinking about replacing.

Sport lite jib 3572/800 = $4.46/hr and you MIGHT think about replacing depending on wear.

So better performance, twice the “good” lifespan for $.50/hr, a smile on your face cause you got better race results and your kids want to go sailing on the “cool” boat! Hmmm

Which tri radial cloth is that for, brand and style? There are lots of different grades of tri radial cloth.

That price of $1352 seems unbelievably low. For a comparison, take a look at the cross cut dacron polyester main on this website. The base mainsail for a Catalina 310 (without any reefs or logo, etc) is $2082.

6-7 oz, not sure brand, this is there biggest sale, normal price Is $1800. I wouldn't go this cheap honestly but when Precision did my jib for my O'Day 25 it was a cross cut same material and was fine for my needs. I've decided not to just get cheapest sails this year and push off to next winter.

Is this still a laminated product? As opposed to to North's 3Di's patented process ?

@SG
Thanks for the link. I wasn’t aware of how North was evolving their tech. Your link led me to the following.

The composite “layup” on a customizable “mold” using robots to lay out the strips is amazing!
