New paddle wheel for horizon knot meter.

My Catalina 30 has a Horizon knot meter which was manufactured in 1988. Does anyone have a source for a replacement paddlewheel? I found out the hard way that they are not rated for 55 knots in an air-cooled condition. (I forgot to tape it when the boat was trucked to my new location.):eek:

Hayden, have the model number (DS 45, DS 50 etc) of your unit. If you have the owner's manual try to find a part number also. The following company may be able to help. They purchased all the parts inventory of the discontinued Horizon and Standard Horizon instruments. If you have a "1" series you're probably out of luck, but the 45 an 50 series may still be available. So call this number, go to the operator and ask for parts or tech support. Good luck.
