So much stuff, so little space.
I am now welding my new davits and before long will install them. Ihave to decide what goes where on the rear rail. I have 4 items to mount on the rail. A BBQ grill, a 3.5 mercury outboard, a horseshoe buoy and a life sling pack. I have removed all items and after securing the davits, I need to remount them however do I want my inflatable to rub against a stainless, square BBQ grill and an outboard?? I am thinking of moving the life sling and horseshoe to the rear so if the dinghy is pulled hard in, it will rub on these soft items. I can extend the rails with additional tubing to accommodate the outboard to port (since my radar pole/outboard crane is there) and BBQ to starboard. Am I on the right path??
Also I am concerned about access to the ladder with the dink up. I am planning to explore the possibility of making a folding ladder with built in platform (as shown in the owners mods page).it may not be feasible with the dink up to operate!
Ideas and thoughts? Let me have them.
