Aside from the crack is anyone else concerned about the electrolysis on the strut? It seems to me, over all maintenance has been lacking on this boat.. I agree with Stu, run! There lots of other boats out there.

The strut might be subject to galvanic corrosion, however it is difficult to tell as there are layers of paint on the strut. There is a degraded anode which should be protecting the strut from galvanic action. To better assess the strut all the paint would need to be removed. The tell tale sign of galvanic action on bronze is the bronze turning red as the zinc is leached out. This makes the bronze brittle.

While often used to describe galvanic action, electrolysis isn't the correct term. Electrolysis is a process by which a DC current is applied to a compound to separate the elements. This is often demonstrated in HS science classes by separating water in hydrogen and oxygen.
