nice site--they donot look inexpensive and no price until after the order is filled out?? uhoh----
have you considered used equipment?? there are many boats being salvaged and the parts are just as good as new ones--look closely and find what you might need for a fraction of what the new is....there is also the option of a personal bimini--or a tilley hat--they arent too costly and they are lifetime guaranteed..keeps sun off pate and shoulders.....

If you get that umbrella thingy-a-jobby and install it, take some images. I might do the same thing.

It is not that hard to sew a bimini. There is a lot of books and information out there on how to do this. You can buy a used machine on ebay, sunbrella material, and probably a frame and do the work yourself. You will save a ton of money that way!

For sure there are all kind of ways to save time and money to have shade. I was going to try CT's idea of Tyvek and tent poles but my wife came up with the Sport-Brella idea, so we tried it. It was cheap, easy, and worked fantastic.
