I don't have an answer to your question, but I have a suggestion for the design of your dodger. Instead of having it made with the usual snap-on covers over the windows, consider a full cover over the whole dodger. I had mine done that way and the cost was about the same (more material, less labor). The advantage of the full cover is that it's easier to remove and put on and extends the life of your dodger since everything is covered when your boat is not in use.
