Last April I was really disappointed with the way my cowl vents and solar powered vent looked against my freshly painted white deck. They were a dingy, drab, yellowed color. I figured since they were plastic why couldn't I just use that new Krylon paint for plastic? The paint can be used on plastic patio furniture so I figured it must be somewhat UV resistent. I bought a can of the white and gave all the items a couple coats. I have to say they turned out terrific! It's been 6 months now and they still look fresh and new. One word of caution, the paint scratches easily on the soft plastic cowl vents, but I just sanded the bad spot and gave it another coat of paint. I thought I'd pass this tip along.

Krylon works great.

Did my vent cowls 5 years ago with Krylon and they still look like new.

Very neat

A question: are you talking about the stuff in a spray can? Or is there a brush-on version?

Krylon make a paint just for things

like instrument covers, winch holders and other similar products. It is called Krylon Fusion. It bonds to flexable things. Beckson recommends it for use on their ports. r.w.landau
