Last April I was really disappointed with the way my cowl vents and solar powered vent looked against my freshly painted white deck. They were a dingy, drab, yellowed color. I figured since they were plastic why couldn't I just use that new Krylon paint for plastic? The paint can be used on plastic patio furniture so I figured it must be somewhat UV resistent. I bought a can of the white and gave all the items a couple coats. I have to say they turned out terrific! It's been 6 months now and they still look fresh and new. One word of caution, the paint scratches easily on the soft plastic cowl vents, but I just sanded the bad spot and gave it another coat of paint. I thought I'd pass this tip along.
