Just when the weather is turning nice. My truck started acting funny yesterday.
After I got home I cleaned the MAF sensor because the CEL was on and the codes suggested that.
After cleaning I tested the truck and the tranny started acting up. Over space of a few minutes it went from acting funny, to stalling the motor when I put it in gear, to just not working at all!
CRAP!
I checked the fluid and no matter what I did, it showed over full.
I have never put fluid in it before. I'm thinking that if the torque converter is shot, that would explain the high fluid level?
Now I'm faced with choosing a transmission shop.
In the past I've had bad luck with those places.
Any suggestions ?
