We purchased an O'Day 192 last fall and sailed her a few times before winter set in. We launched her last week, took her for one sail, and everything seemed fine. Today, we took her out sailing, stopped at a pier an hour later, and noticed that she had a lot of water in the bilge.
We finished our sail, hoisted her up, and the water is now slowly leaking out the drain hole in the stern of the boat. We can't figure out how the water is coming into the boat.
The drain hole does not have a plug. Is there supposed to be a stop that prevents water from going into the hole? Where else should we look for water to be entering the boat?
Thanks.
