Sail Magazine's November issue has an article written by Mike Harker. Mike is the chap that has completed 24,000 miles in his beautiful blue hulled 466. This tells about an experience he had after losing his rudder after it became entangle in some fishing nets out in the Pacific. He talks about going through three different designs before getting back to a safe anchorage. Hunter somehow heard about his problem and had air freighted a replacement rudder to this remote island. This is really an eye-opening tale; one we all should take to heart should the unheard of calamity happen.John Richards/v Jack's Place
