beneteau 361 Raymarine EV200 Autopilot
Hi Philip,
I also have a Beneteau 361 and I have just purchased the new Raymarine EV200 with electric linear drive , type 1. I have also purchased the quadrant bracket, drive bracket, backing plate for the drive bracket from Beneteau to install the linear drive as per Beneteau's plan in the starboard lazarette. I find that there is not much room in that lazarette and looking at your pictures I think I will install mine exactly like you did.
I assume I can still use the quadrant bracket that I got from Beneteau as well as the Drive bracket and backing plate, am I right?
Did you remove the propane holding tanks box?
Beneteau recommend an additional wood reinforcement piece for the auto pilot.
How did you reinforce the wall where you mounted the linear drive? There is an opening just under your linear drive and I was wondering if the panel was strong enough?
I think that you installed the autopilot pack(computer) just behind the propane box, How easy is it to make the connections?
Thanks in advance for your help. If you have additional photos I would like if not too much trouble for you to see them.
I want to install a Webasto AirTop 3900 on my sailboat and would like to find out if you came across such an installation.
Regards,
Georges
