Yes....I've been to the C34 website and read the motor mount post(took their advise bought the Vetus mounts). Which must work great on the C34, but I have a C30 Mk II /M25 and was wondering what method is used to lift the forward section of the engine? The aft section I can use the boom but the forward section is well inside the cabin. Anybody been thru this lately? *o Thank you! Richard

Block and Tackle

Richard, I used a block and tackle, ran it forward thru the hatch, and attached it to a bow cleat. Used a come-a-long attached to a 4x4 across the companionway. The come-a-long pulls up and slightly aft. The block and tackle pulls forward. Between the two you can control the lift pretty well, either for the forward or aft part of the engine. Good Luck on the project.

My trick

Deflate a basketball, put it in the bilge and reinflate to the clearance you need.
