Check out the head mistress link on the main page. It has articals and tips on winterizing your plumbing system. As far as your Universal 18 HP, consult the owners manual. At the very leas drain all water from engine, intake manafold, and exhaust system. Pump antifreeze through the cooling system. I hope this helps some. RSK
