Worse in person
I went down to HHNorth yesterday to move my boat back to HHSouth (which still has a few docks without power, but otherwise is back to normal). We were hauled, so suffered no damage. It is very sobering standing on the shore by A, B, and C docks to see the twisted planks, banged up boats, and masts rising up from underwater. What struck me more, though, was how much the boats docked there were tossing about under quite calm conditions. When you look out, you can see that there is really nothing between those docks and the Bay. Given how the boats were moving yesterday, I can't imagine how bad it was under hurricane conditions.HarryHunter 456 - "Czech Mate"harry@greenspun.com
