I recently purchased a 1990 Hunter 30 with what I assume is the original holding tank. I have the following questions.
1. Is there a practical way to gauge/measure/reasonably estimate the level of the holding tank?
2. There is an approximately 6" diameter rubber diaphragm with a pump handle in the port lazarette that appears to be designed to pump the holding tank out thru a valve in the hull of the boat.
a. Is this correct?
b. Does the holding tank drain by gravity if the valve is open?
c. The diaphragm leaks. Any thoughts on replacement parts?
